The Committee briefly reviewed the December 15, 2005 meeting with the Warner Village Water District. Their legal line has increased in anticipation of possible issues with the upcoming shutoff of services on North Village Road. Grant money was applied for, and if approved, the money will be used toward the reconstruction of Mill Street. The Selectmen will be presenting a warrant article to further fund the Road Construction Fund which will work in conjunction with the Precinct grant. The total cost for the Mill Street project is approximately $588,000.00, the Precinct’s portion amounts to $140,000.00. The Committee discussed the positive aspects of Bonding for a ten year road construction plan.

The Committee discussed waiting to review the whole budget until wages and revenue is completely calculated. The Town is waiting for information from FEMA regarding reimbursement from the recent flooding. If the money is granted the Highway budget will need to be adjusted to show that the required culverts that need replacement are funded (to prevent future flooding). The Selectmen still need to make minor adjustments to the budget before presenting to the Committee.

Motion to adjourn 7:40 p.m.
