Warner Conservation Commission Minutes of Meeting December
2, 2009
Attending:
Nancy Martin, Russ St. Pierre, Doug Allen, Mimi Wiggin, John
Dabuliewicz, and Jim McLaughlin (recording).
Approval of
Minutes of the November 4, 2009 Meeting
The
minutes of the meeting of November 4, 2009 were approved with one
correction; the date of the February walk at Bound Tree is the 13th,
not the 12th.
Conservation
Plan
Nancy
distributed copies of the completed Conservation Plan document
received from Margaret Watkins. There was discussion about how the
Conservation Plan was to be integrated with the Master Plan. Members
were asked to read the document before the January meeting in order to
have a better idea of what sections need to be incorporated. John
offered to do a first draft of this component.
The
group agreed that more hard copies were needed and Jim will check on
available funds in the budget and coordinate with Margaret as to the
printer used and their costs. Additional copies should be made
available to the Planning Board, ZBA, Selectmen and Library. The Plan
will also be put on the Town’s web site.
Nancy
will check with Margaret about the subtitle that had been agreed to
for the document: "Today's Vision, Tomorrow's Reality". It
didn’t appear on this cover.
Land
Protection
Bower
Property
The
LCHIP site walk has been rescheduled for December 17 at 10:30 at the
Bower’s farm.
Wetlands
Issues
Russ
distributed a page which summarized DES wetlands permit actions during
2009. He received the resubmittal package of Peter Ladd’s permit
application to restore a small dam in the Warner River off West Roby
Road.
Planning
Board
No
report, since the Planning Board’s meeting is on the 7th.
The
next meeting is January 6, 2010.
