After the roll call was taken Barbara Annis, Acting Chairman asked for any committee reports.

Ed Mical reported that the Hazard Mitigation Plan Committee did meet.  Hank Duhamel is the PB representative on this committee.  The next meeting is May 12th.  The committee is in the process of updating the plan.

Rick Davies volunteered that he is a member of the Transfer Station Design Committee and the PB has been asked to have a representative present at these meetings.  Where he is on both committees he volunteered to be the PB representative.  The purpose of the Design Committee is to project the status of the Transfer Station out for 20 years.

The meeting was then turned over to Sharon .  She reported that she had talked to an individual at R. C. Brayshaw about printing the survey and hopes to have it to them this week.  The surveys will be mailed out to all PO Box and individuals with street addresses.

The board reviewed the survey, made suggestions, deleted some areas, added several topics and gave approval at the end of the evening.  Barbara is to confirm several building footprints with the appraisal clerk and forward this information to Sharon .  Sharon will send a final draft to everyone and individuals should respond by Wednesday of this week if they wish to make a comment.

#8 on page 9 building in the flood plain.  Sharon is of the opinion that this should be reviewed after the survey results are in. Many towns do not allow building in the flood plain.

Sharon then briefly discussed the purpose of the next meeting (May 19th).  Jim brought up that he had a list of all subdivisions, lot line adjustments, mergers, etc. since 2002 when the Conservation Commission had a map of all the lots in town identified.  Ed Mical found the map that Jim was referring to and showed it to the committee.  Although very beneficial there are no funds in the PB budget to update the map.

Barbara asked what Sharon thought the town’s chances of receiving the HCPP grant.  There are 29 applications for it and money for only 10 to receive the full amount.  A number of the applications are for only a portion of the amount.
